The
water and sand are remarkably clean.
We
were in the area protected by special shark nets, but lots of smaller fish were
happily swimming amongst us.
Watsons Bay is a lovely fishing village a
short ferry journey from Circular Quay.
We
walked along the headland (past the nudist beach!) to the lighthouse.

From here we could look back to the city and out to the ocean. |
Then we went back to the wharf for a "schooner" and a
"pot" of the local lager
and
watched the sun set
over
the bay before going to the famous Doyles's Seafood
Restaurant for a tasty fish and chip supper!
Fantastic! A
great way to end a great holiday.
See the photos from the rest of our travels around Singapore
and Australia.
