Singapore Holiday 2004

Home | Destinations | Restaurants | Contact | Site Map

In March and April John and I had a fabulous holiday travelling around Australia on the way there and back we stopped in Singapore for a few days.

Whilst recovering from the long flights we found some energy to explore the delights of this island city in Southeast Asia including the Singapore River, the colonial district, Raffles, the Botanical Gardens, the National Orchid Garden.

Guarding the entrance to the Singapore River are the Merlions.

Another day we visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

As we walked along Orchard Road we spotted a familiar name!

Proof that Dad was here!

Then we arrived at the Botanic Gardens.

We wandered around the National Orchid Garden.

We really enjoyed our short stopovers in Singapore.
