In October John and I travelled around Canada. We stayed in Jasper National
Park gateway to The Rocky Mountains.
On our first evening in Jasper we had
dinner at the highly recommended Tekerra Lodge restaurant.

It's
a short stroll from Jasper's town centre.
The following day we went to Lake Maligne.

We
took a cruise on the lake.
We reached Spirit Island, one of the most photographed spots in the
Canadian Rockies.
We walked alongside the lakeshore amongst the Lodge Pole Pines and
Spruces,

hoping
not to come face to face with any bears.

The
next day we hiked to Lake Patricia.
Then it was time to leave Jasper and catch the train to Vancouver.

Montreal,
travelling to Ottawa and attending Bob's wedding,
then
onto to Edmonton
and through the Jasper National
Park and The Rocky Mountains to Vancouver.
