Whilst visiting the Loire Valley we stayed in Blois for a few days.
It's a medieval town with little winding streets and charming buildings.

The St Louis Cathedral
The town centre is dominated by the chateau which is on top of a hill.

and it looks beautiful all lit up at night when it hosts the son et lumière
shows.
Across the square from the chateau is the museum of magic.

With the Loire River a stone's throw from the town centre Blois is certainly
an attractive place to visit.

Within easy reach of Blois are the chateaux , Chambord and
Cheverny.
