The 2006 pétanque tournament took place in October in the Jardin des Tuileries and once again we were lucky enough to have nice sunny weather.

Soon after 11am the first players started to arrive.

This year I was teamed up with Phil.

A relaxed John and last year's champion, Max had the honour of playing in the first match of the tournament against Bala and Sophie, who were certainly ready for the challenge.

The Albion boys came back for this year's tournament

and international player, Marky made a special trip over from Dublin for the event.

Everyone brought a picnic and liquid refreshments

and various friends popped in throughout the day to support the players.
