Goal is an international humanitarian organisation. 

In April John and I attended the Goal Charity Ball in Paris, which began with a champagne reception.

Steve booked tables for friends from the Auld Alliance and the Pure Malt pubs.

During dinner, which included Irish roast beef we were entertained by traditional Irish dancers.

This was followed by an auction.

Lucky Steve won the Ryan Giggs shirt!

(John won some fancy Bordeaux wine, but I'm not able to provide proof of this as the bottles disappeared before I could take a photo!)

Then the band began to play 

and there was plenty of dancing and 

drinking

and more drinking

                                                        and generally having a good time!
