Over the Easter weekend we travelled to Amsterdam in the Netherlands with friends and visited the world famous Keukenhof Gardens.
We also dined at some fabulous restaurants.
Amsterdam
We caught the Eurostar to Amsterdam and arrived at Amsterdam Centraal station.
This is a short walk to Dam Square.
Amsterdam's Chinatown.
Amsterdam is known for its beers.
Keukenhof Gardens
The gardens were celebrating their 75th anniversary. Each spring the flower gardens are open to the public, who come to admire the beautiful varieties of spring bulbs and especially the magnificent tulip displays.

This art deco cafe in Leidseplein dates from 1902.

Mid range restaurant. Good food and central location a few minutes walk from Central Station.

Highly recommended Indonesian restaurant, where we enjoyed the Indonesian Rice Table.
