in February John and I went to the France v Ireland 6 Nations rugby match.
To get to the Stade de France in Paris we took a boat trip along the Seine.
We boarded at the foot of The Eiffel Tower,
where we were greeted by Christine, who was looking after the
bar on the deck.
We set sail passing the beautiful Pont Alexandre near Invalides.
Being up on deck we got a lovely view of Paris in the morning sunshine.
Champagne was served
whilst we were entertained by the ever popular Paddy Sherlock
and the Swingin' Lovers
Then we went back up on deck to get a closer view of the Notre Dame
and the Statue of Liberty.
The buffet lunch was delicious.
John and Des talk tactics.
Then we arrived at the stadium ready to watch the match.
Come on Ireland!
