Enjoyed a culinary and cultural summer holiday around the UK. Dined at Tom
Kerridge's restaurant in Marlow and Raymond Blanc's restaurant near
Oxford.
Visited Bletchley Park and then travelled to the
Scottish Borders to see Dryburgh Abbey
and Melrose Abbey and finished our trip in Edinburgh with a tour of the
Murrayfield Stadium.

Randolph Hotel in the centre of Oxford.

Famous for the bar featured in the "Inspector Morse" TV series.

Bletchley Park
The home of the British codebreakers, where during World War II Alan Turing
and his team decoded the German Enigma machine. It was fascinating visiting the
Mansion House and the Huts around the estate.

Raymond Blanc Le Manoir

An enjoyable stroll around the hotel gardens.

Near the herb and vegetable gardens we discovered the "Mushroom Valley".

Dined in the Michelin starred restaurant - just perfect.

Scottish Borders
Dryburgh Abbey on the banks of the River Tweed.

Established in 1150 and is the burial place of the poet and novelist, Sir
Walter Scott

Remains of the Rose Window and cloisters.

Melrose Abbey

Founded in 1136 in the town of Melrose.

Murrayfield Stadium Tour, Edinburgh
Interesting tour of the stadium and history of legendary rugby matches and players.

The trophy cabinet displayed the prestigious Calcutta Cup as Scotland beat
England in the 2018 Six Nations Tournament.
