We stayed near the elegant Place Jean Jaures

and the Hotel de Ville

Near the Loire River and the busy touristy Place Plumereau is the St Julien church.

We enjoyed a variety of day trips by minibus, train and bicycle to the surrounding chateaux and towns. Tours makes an ideal base for exploring the region.
