At Easter John and I travelled to Zug and Luzern in Switzerland and then explored
Lake Como and Milan in Italy.
Zug

Strolling through the medieval old town by the lake.

The clock tower is a famous landmark.

The ornately decorated police station.
Luzern

Our friend, Nicola showed us around Luzern.

We enjoyed a boat trip around Lake Luzern.

The 14th century wooden footbridge

Picturesque rooftops of Luzern.
Lake Como

At the elegant town of Como we joined a boat tour around Italy's third
largest lake.

We passed attractive towns and hillside villages.

As we headed northwards towards the Alps the scenery became more mountainous.

We wandered through the town admiring the smart and well maintained
buildings.

Milan
A short train journey from Lake Como brought us to Milan and its magnificent
cathedral.
