My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed a very Parisian night out in Montmartre.
We met at the charming restaurant, Le Moulin de La Galette.
This restaurant used to be a mill and is beneath one of the two remaining
windmills in Montmartre.
As well as delighting in the historical atmosphere we found
the food to be delicious too.
After dinner we walked through the winding cobbled streets to the cabaret, Au
Lapin Agile,
where we were treated to a very traditional French show which included songs,
poetry and music. We all clapped along merrily to the songs (even though
we didn't know the words!) and sipped a lovely cherry liquer, which rounded off
a fun and memorable evening.
