At the end of November John and I spent a long weekend in Cologne and enjoyed seeing the old town and experiencing the Christmas markets.
We caught the train to Cologne and the station is situated right next to the
famous Gothic cathedral.
We admired the brightly coloured buildings in the old town.
There were several Christmas markets dotted around the city.
We sampled the gluhwein served in the festive mugs.
