John often has to pop across the pond to work in Chicago.  

In May I was fortunate enough to tag along.

While John was busy earning a crust I was free to explore the city.

From North Michigan Avenue I decided to walk along Lake Michigan.

Even though the sun was shining I was definitely in the Windy city

On Saturday John took me to the Navy Pier

Then back into down town Chicago and cross the Chicago River

to the Picasso Sculpture

Then we head back to our apartment on North Michigan Ave for a nice cuppa tea!.

I'm looking forward to another trip over, maybe in the Autumn?
