Every year the British Embassy in Paris holds its Christmas Ball in the Residence..

There was a good turn out from the British Council crew this year.

After the champagne reception we entered Pauline's bedroom.

.... and took our seats

We enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner complete with turkey and the trimmings, Christmas Pudding all accompanied by numerous bottles of wine. 

In between dancing to the family favourites such as Abba and The Beatles we retire to the table to quench our thirst! 

                               After the ball is over,
                               After the break of morn
                              After the dancers' leaving ...................
