We enjoyed a cycling holiday in Finistere, Brittany, France. We began our trip in
Quimper and then cycled to Benodet, a pretty seaside town.
As usual we found some some wonderful restaurants.
Quimper
The beautiful floral displays on the bridges of the Odet River.
Préfecture du Finistere
The gothic Saint Corentin Cathedral
The old town has many traditional Breton timber frame buildings.
The historic Celtic links between Cornouaille in Finistere and Cornwall,
Britain are still visible today.
Benodet
On our Brompton bikes cycling to Benodet.
Cycling over the bridge, Pont de Cornouaille approaching Benodet.
We enjoyed strolling along the coastal path in Benodet admiring the town's
art deco architecture.
and the sea views.
The port and marina with the Pont de Cornouaille
Naturally a visit to Brittany must include crepes both savoury and sweet
accompanied with cider served in bowls
