London Court with its "Olde English" style is in the centre of the city.
At the Esplanade on the Swan River is the Bell Tower
and the black swans can be seen everywhere.
We walked along the Swan River lagoon around King's Park
and stopped at the restaurant at the Old Swan Brewery on the river shore .
It was another sunny morning as we sailed gently upstream.
No sooner had we set off than the wine tasting began.
We passed the WACA and the house where Rolf Harris lived as a child.
We took a stroll on deck
Then lunch was served accompanied by another bottle from the region.
During the afternoon we visited two wineries.
First stop was Houghton Wines, the biggest producer in the area.
Then we visited a newer winery, River Bank Estate,
where we thoroughly enjoyed the presentation on how to appreciate and judge wines, and of course the tasting itself was fun too.
Then it was time to return to the boat and enjoy the early evening cruise back to Perth.
After Perth we moved several kilometres south to Cottesloe Beach and Fremantle. See the photos from the rest of our travels around Singapore and Australia.
