In June 2006 we went to Bedford for Jan and Matthew's wedding.

Elstow, John Bunyan's birthplace

 

 

 

The wedding ceremony took place in Elstow, where the famous author John Bunyan was born.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moot Hall Elstow, Bedforshire

 

 

 

 

Moot Hall is a Tudor building, now a museum with particular focus on John Bunyan.

We walked around to the abbey, which was founded in 1078 by the Countess Judith, niece of William the Conqueror.
