Bedford is a pretty little market town with the River Great Ouse flowing through it.

The wedding ceremony took place in Elstow, where the famous author John Bunyan was born.

Moot Hall is a Tudor building, now a museum with particular focus on John Bunyan.

We walked around to the abbey, which was founded in 1078 by the Countess Judith, niece of William the Conqueror.

The Bride and Groom looking very happy emerged from the abbey

and got showered in confetti

before getting in the car to the reception.

Later at the reception we caught up with friends we hadn't seen for several years.
