In July 2003 I left the British Council, so to mark the occasion, of course, I had a party.

Stephenson Room

The evening began with my farewell pot in the Stephenson room at the British Council.

Then a merry crowd made its way to Café de l'Industrie

where more eating and drinking took place, and we were joined by Joel.

Then an even merrier, although smaller crowd made its way to the Auld Alliance pub.
