Following a wonderful summer lunch chez Doreen, our Fête de la Musique evening started very appropriately in the Auld Alliance.

Ewan played his pipes and attracted a large crowd outside the pub.

Then John and I wandered down to the banks of the Seine

to watch Ernesto and his band entertain the revellers
