In June John took part in the Auld Alliance golf competition at Crécy-la-Chapelle on the outskirts of Paris.  After the day on the golf course there was a party where everyone enjoyed a lovely dinner, a charity raffle and music and dancing

Le Domaine de la Brie golf course is in a lovely setting.
